About Attorney Mauricio Vazquez
Mauricio was born in Monterrey, Mexico, but has called Houston home for as long as he can remember. Mauricio grew up in southeast Houston, and life has taken him to live in every corner of our city.
Mauricio attended Texas Tech University for his undergraduate studies, and made it his goal to attend some of the nation's top law schools and get the best legal education he could. He did just that, attending Cornell Law School and The University of Texas School of Law for his law degree. Mauricio found his passion for being a voice for those facing the loss of their liberty by defending people accused of crimes including death row inmates throughout his time in law school. Mauricio served as an intern in Texas Courts at every level, including the 14th Court of Appeals and Texas' highest criminal court, the Court of Criminal Appeals.
Mauricio is a former chief prosecutor and public defender with vast experience having handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases. Mauricio is persistent, professional, and dedicated to fighting for his clients. If you want an attorney with experience, integrity, and proven results, put Vazquez Law in your corner today!
